Bought this off a guy on here not too long ago. It needed some work, but I wanted it. I havent had a fun street car for a while, so im pretty excited to get it done. Its getting painted right now, black and viper red. When I get it back im going to put some twisted wedge heads, V-1 S trim,60lb. injectors, sct3000 meter, precision autosports tune, 1 3/4x3" longtubes, 3" prochamber, 3" pro dumps, weld pro stars, and maybe some suspension stuff. This is the car after 40 hours of metal/body work, with the new front bumper, H.O. fibertrends decklid, and all the body panels alighned other than the front bumper. Its in exoxy white primer here.

look at james' car (5.0calypso93lx) he has a thick stripe dividing the 2 colors ... doesnt look bad ...

Orange is the color this year. I would go with some kind of stripe but make it metallic. It should sparkle. Then clear the whole thing. It is your car. Do what you want. Don't do a lime green or some weird color though. Look ahead 6 months. A good idea now may get old real quick.

Got some progress done this weekend. Got the car back from Ray at Victory Fab last night, he put in a fuel cell and made me a firewall, he's a cool guy. Also I got the cam degreed in, anyone know how to use the adjustable pushrod length checker? Ive got one, just done know exactly what angle the rockers should be at.

Got the pump mocked up and the feed hose made up. I still have to pull the rear end out to have 35 spline axles, spool, 9" housing ends, and brakes. i'll clean it all up then. It kinda looks like crap now, but here's some pics.

Got ERRRR tuned today. Only had one issue, around 5200 the belt started slipping on the blower, so I only made around 8 pounds of boost, I should be making around 12 or 13. With the belt slipping, it made 523hp@ 5400 and 533tq. Im going to have to put it back on the dyno after I get a shorter belt and a better tensioner. I drove it for about 20 minutes to make sure it wouldnt get hot, it seems like its going to be pretty fun, givin I didnt get to get on it because the moisture on the roads. But im bringing it home tomorrow. Thanks to everyone at PRECISION Autosports!!!!

Update!!! left the stock t5 in it to get tuned........drove it home.....well..... tried to....... tried to power shift into 3rd........Guess im putting my PA C4 in....... Transmission is DONE!!! 3rd gear has some serious issues, hit 3rd and it was the most god aweful snapping sound ive ever heard. I should have known better.

Note to self: stock T5's dont like 5500 side steps...

what tensioner did you use with your s trim setup?

I had Ray @ victory fab make a custom tensioner/ blower brace. You can buy those cheap bolt on tensioners from ebay, or I may have one, they work pretty good, but dont provide any extra bracing for the blower.

Got it done. the first drive didnt go so good. wreckless operation ticket(long story), but the second drive was fun!!!! Anyone that says automatics are boring is CRAZY!!! That thing still skates all over the place even from 40 cruising down the road!!!! The transbrake was a little pointless without traction but...... I REALLY REALLY like the automatic! Cant wait to hit the track!
