Fuckers.
I vote that all street racing in the city should be done in Crosby Township. Then when the residents bitch about that, we can say "we would do it on a track but you won't let us have one."

Damn, that is harsh.
I went back to good ole Pike Co. last weekend and went to the new 300', yes three HUNDRED FEET!, track down Rte 52 heading to Huntington.... I never would have believed all the cars in attendance, about 300 or so, plus the 1500 spectators!!! I never knew that many other cars existed in the hills.

PS- I call BS on the stress lowering wool production.....

since the land is zoned for industrial, I say Steve should put in a steel stamping plant and let it run YEAR ROUND 24/7, with lots of toxic chemicals.......but all very legal.
Ethanol plant even?

i had no idea crosby township was the Alpaca capital it is......guess i need to get out more......
i agree build something that smell like shit and makes more dust than a rock crushing plant... and run it 24/7
is rumpke looking for a new location... that would set the peoples strait...
i would have to call shinanigans....ok bullshit on this one... maybe the county courts will help...

I know Steve very well, he and I did a lot of racing back in the day.
He had a nice 68 Shelby back in the 80's and a Vette called the Secret Weapon! It was the Fastest NA car in the country. He got the cover of Hot Rod.

i bet if he wanted to build a fucking CRAPCAR track, the county would see $$ and be all about it. the political fucks view drag racing as an activity of micreants, and i have yet to see a politico stand up for them. they have forced tracks all over the country to require "mufflers" or be shut down because developers build housing nearby, and in 99.9% of the cases, the track was there decades before the first home was built.
it's bullshit. whichever cryin bitch bawls the loudest gets their way.

Wonder if steve would be interested in a 24 hr shooting range on that property. :AR15::AR15::AR15:
:smokin: It makes some noise and those long range shoots can thin out the sheep.
