There are three vaccum tree's on the p/s shock tower can i eliminate those and can i just eliminate the EGR valve with a block off plate, my car is tuned by MD but it had all this stuff on it when tuned??? and DONT EVER I REPEAT EVER buy ARP pressure plate bolts they suck ass, torqued them down and one snapped in the flywheel then i had to go and drill it out and retap the hole, i was torquing to ford spec and i know the torque wrench is good.

You can get rid of it all. Just have the egr turned off with the chip or you may flag a cel.

The vacuum solenoids on the strut tower can be eliminated. One is for the EGR valve and the other two are for the smog pump system control valves. If you eliminate the egr you may set a light as mentioned above especially if you disconnect the Egr valve position sensor. (The sensor mounted to the egr valve itself)

You can take the egr position sensor and lock it in the half way position and that will work. Used that trick also.

Yeah it will set the check engine light but ken may have turned it off anyway. If he didn't he can if you're worried about the light being on but don't delete the vacuum line that goes through the firewall cause it controls the heater and such.
