View Full Version : Used Oil
Does anybody know of a company or individual that would take a large quantity of used oil, I have approx. 70 gallons (1 full 55 gal. drum) & one about 1/2 full.
Thanks,
Kevin

Call your local mechanic and see who they use?
I dunno....I either take it up to AutoZone (I only take 2-4 gallons at a time) or I drop it off at my buddies shop (he's a mechanic) and they just include it with their stuff. I've only done that once though and it was only 6 or 7 gallons total.

Find someone that had a waste oil heater for their shop/garage...They are always looking for oil for winter time.

Yup RScoupe uses it to heat his shop and would probably love to have it. If not check with your county for a household hazardous waste collection. I know Hamilton county has it set up with a company called Environmental Enterprises Inc. (EEI) which is located on Spring Grove Ave. They accept waste 2 days a week I believe.

Smyth automotive will take it that is how they heat there warehouse in West Chester.
Still have the oil, WINTER IS COMING!! if you use a used oil furnace this would help you out. FREE just come & pick it up.
