Hey,

I am ready to drop off my 351w block and other goodies and start having the machine work done. Any recommendations on somebody that does kick ass work?

Thanks,

Rich

I see that you are in Dayton. The best machine shop in Dayton is George's Speed Shop. Call Gregg Montgomery at 937.236.3636 or 937.233.0353 Tell him Sharad sent you. They'll take care of you. It will not be the cheapest, but I can personally guarantee that they are the best.

BES does excellent work! Didn't mean to step on your toes Tim.

Rich, are you wanting to spend less than $10k for the complete motor and just have a silly fast street car? 10s, 9s, 8s in the quarter? Or are you wanting a record breaking NMRA or FFW car?

If you want to be in the sixes or sevens and money is no object, I'd definitely check out BES, Bennett, Glidden, Kuntz, Roush, some place like that. Their reputation preceeds them.

I only mentioned George's Speed Shop because they've got numerous NHRA championships, they do excellent work, and they're local to you!

No you didnt step on my toes. I have heard great things out of George Mongomery Shop. I dont think BES is a money is no object shop. Most people know I do most of my racing on a budget. Some times that means I need to save up for what I want to buy. http://besracing.com/services.html There is the majority of their services.

Hey Rich BES did my modular motor twice now. You know I can be hard on equipment. This thing lives on the 7200 rev limiter with 20+ lbs of boost. Never had one problem.
