I have a freshly rebuilt one that I decided not to put in the car because the car wasn't worthy. $650 cash no core required, but I would liek the converter core if possible. Trans was built by Jack Willoghby and has zero miles on it since rebuild.

good deal but i was looking for a good used one cant afford to put that much money in that car.

They 96/97's are getting hard to find without rediculous miles on them. That was my plan for the car as well and I couldn't get a decent one. I found a few and the used ones were going for that much. $650 is what I invested in the rebuild having a buddy do it. I sold the converter out of it a few weeks ago but I will build another for it if someone needs it. i started fixing the car up for my ex and then took a personal problem with it because of who it was for. So I pulled the trans back out and junked the body.
