OK guys. What are the disadvatages to a 157 tooth JW Ultra bell? I figure a 157 setup on the flywheel will give me more header clearance.... and more room to work under the car. Is there any Disadvantages? What are you all running on your setups?

Looks like I will be going with a 157 tooth. I was told there was no drawbacks or disadvatages, esp. since I'm starting from scratch.

If you use the 164 tooth it will be easier on the starter. If you use the 157 tooth it will be less rotating weight.

Thanks for your response...

we ran a 164 in my buddys car with a high tourqe starter, the guy at jw told us that with a high compression motor(13:1) it is easier to start. but for lower compression he said run the 157. guessing that you are supercharged you are probably running low compression so your are right on the 157
