Pinks update

[FMGT1999]

Well everyone from the SBZ pinks racing team went to the track this morning and signed in got all of the paper work done and everything looks good. The Pinks show well start at 6:00pm central time but we will not be up to the line until 7:45PM for the show, however we have to have the Mustang out at KCIR at 4:00pm for the camera crew to setup the in car cameras for the show.

We all got to meet Nate from pinks this morning as well as his brother and the rest of the pinks crew that where there when we where there, we also got to meet the producer from the speed channel as well. Seems like an ok guy, however he really didn't have much to say at the time besides the standard hello to everyone and a brief introduction of who he was and a little about the show.

Everyone is excite and looking forward to tonight. We are still working out a few little issues but for the most part things are a go and are on the count down until later this evening.

Wish us all luck and keep Vinny in mind when say a pray for all of us out here to win it for Vinny and Holly and the SBZ family.

Today also happens to be my dad's (and vinny's) birthday. He passed away in September of 1999. I went to the grave today and asked him to help push the car over the finish line...we'll see if it works!:angel:

Well, it is out of the bag now. Kevin called me and told me we won. We will be bringing home a late 70s to mid 80s camero with a 502 with spray. That's all I know right now. Maximus is going to post up all the dirty details soon. Stay tuned. We did well.

We will be the first show of Season Five of Pinks, airing in February 2008 (pit crew got t-shirts saying this).
