it depends what you want to do with the car i like edelbrock products personally
If you are going to run the RPM heads I would say an edelbrock intake. The Performer RPM would probably work best on a 331.

take it from someone that is running a 331 with TOO small of an intake ~ get the edelbrock victor 5.0 or the trick flow "R" (you might get away with the holley systemax, they seem to flow better than advertised) ... i have the trick flow track heat (1500-6500 rpm) and im running out of air up top 5900 and beyond (dyno graph) ... my 1500-6500 rpm intake is for a 302, if you're running a stroker - you need a 7200+ rpm intake ...
all your intake flow numbers and rpm ranges are advertised for 302's ... if you have a 331, take about 10% off of those numbers - a 347 take about 13% off ... so an intake that advertises 6500 rpm, will get you about 5950 for a 331 and about 5650 for a 347 ... make sense? ... good luck with your build :bigthumb

makes alot of sence i would go with a victor 5.0 intake then
thats what im stepping up to this winter ... the guy that built my engine, said it should spin to 7000 ... i max out around 5900 - largely due to the intake being too small and probably a little bit of valve float with the factory trick flow springs / hydraulic cam ... i could see another 20 ponies to the wheels with a better intake ...
if you can get your lower intake port matched to the heads, i would highly suggest it - it will do wonders!

I was thinking the victor 5.0,I was also wondering about that fuel injected lower and the elbow.I think its called a spider intake. But i guess its for a blown application.Ill be driving alot on the street, but will hit the track even more.the cam specs will end up being .516 lift.Ill go bigger but for right now this will do.

302 parts make 302 power on a stroker...which is fine for a torquey street motor if that's what you want. But if you want 375+rwhp and be able to run mid to low 11's n/a at the track....then you need to go bigger on the intake side of the motor. The systemax/tfs-r/victor 5.0 all work well on healthy 8.2 deck strokers. You may even what to think about having your heads ported before you put them on your 331.

I had a Systemax and it worked well, that is what most of the Renegade guys run. The Victor would be best for a higher RPM range. IMO.
