Countdown to PINKS! timeline & questions...

To all of those involved or going,

I have a couple of questions...

1. Where is the trailer and when can I pick it up? (details on the trailer too, if any - length, is all hitch equipment available, etc)
2. Where is the car and when can I pick it up?
3. The car has to be there at 6:00pm Thursday, correct? When is everyone leaving and from where? I'd like to see a caravan of stangs escorting the truck...
4. Does the driver of the car have to arrive with the car on Thursday?
5. When is the actual taping?
6. What is the agenda when we get to KC?

I know some of these questions are silly, but we are only a few days away. I am confident the guys working on the car will have everything in order, but I want to do my best to get the car there safely. I do not want to have to run around all day Wednesday doing last minute stuff like getting the trailer, the car, etc and have something go wrong. I'd like to get it done ASAP so we can all relax on Wednesday before driving 10+ hours on Thursday AM. I can be reached at 859-322-4768. I'd like to see this go as smoothly as possible for everyone involved.

It might also be a good idea to post up cell phone numbers of those who will be on the road at the same time out there.

Good questions Craig, I was wondering what time the taping and stuff is myself.

Jenn and I are arriving at Kyle's Thursday night around 11:30. I am going to be ready for bed, I am working that day, then driving to Columbus, then flying to KC. 11:30 pm is way past my bedtime. :lol:

Friday is going to be busy I'm sure. I have no idea what time we are supposed to be at the track, but if anyone has the details, post em up!

Kelly says they start taping at 6pm Friday, we are second show so figure on 9pm or so. He is trying to get us switched to the first show.

Car has to be at the track at 2pm or shortly after, Kelly will meet us at the track.

I will be filming all the passes from the stands as best as I can. I thought I would go ahead and volunteer b/c if I didn't, Matt would have volunteered me anyway.

I would've guessed filming wouldn't be allowed because it's for a TV show...so you could potentially air it online before they get it on TV.

I have a small pocket dig camcorder, that I used to film the video I put in the media section of our trip to powerfest. I would be more than happy to let you guys take it down there to use. It records straight to a memory card with an hours worth of available memory...its so small they would never know and the video comes out pretty good in avi format. Just let me know if anyone wants to take it down there...I wish I could come but I watch my son during the week and cant get anyone else too. I know we are gonna make vinny proud! I could also host the video from my bands website so they would never find it!

And a fan (extension cord)! You guys are going to roast out there in your tent, I just checked the weather for Kansas City this weekend, 98 degrees in the day and 78 in the evening. This humidity sucks.

If anybody is camping in Kyle's yard, I'd reconsider getting a room in that cheap hotel close to their house. It has a pool (and of course, AC!).

They are arriving on Friday and racing Saturday...they are now racing some dude out of KY with a Fox body.

I don't think we know who we are racing yet... or it hasn't been said. It seems like LS1tech knew right away who they were against because it was in the contract. Maybe Kelly knows and is just not telling:cool2:

That's what they were going to do with LS1 Tech but the other guy backed out . Their car is suppposed to run in the 8's.
