This has been a bitch I've had for a long time. So here it goes, EVERY DAMN time I get in the shower I am bent down like a f-n cripple to get under the water. I am 6'-1" not exactly tall, I think that is pretty average anymore. So for as long as I can remember getting a shower has sucked. You hit your head on the spout or you gouge the thing into your fuckin spine while trying to get down to the big south. Who is the dumb fuck that made the code for heighth of water for showers? Probably some little jap or chink m/fer laughing his little ass off at us dumb Americans who keep putting this shit in our homes. Well I am done the bathroom will be getting remodeled soon and I GARuANTEE? the fuckin shower head(s) will come from the ceiling. Today was the breaking point. Literally. I have had enough. Honestly, to tall for a shower and way to big to sit in the fuckin tub. WTF??? This shit needs to be updated. That is all.:screwy:

just get a S pipe w/ a swivel head and make it higher for now. I'm 6'1" and its fine for me. Puts the shower head about 7ft up.

Im only 6 foot but I hear ya. My aunts house is only 2 years old and they built the showers in her house so low...I have to bend down to wash my hair.

I bought my house last Feb.....and ripped out the shower in the master bath the second day we were in the house. LOL

I didn't do it because the shower head was too low, but it WAS too low. We had some water damage behind the tile that required me doing a complete tear out and rebuild, so I made sure that I added another 9-10" of height on the showerhead. :D

Now, I refuse to take a shower in the main bathroom because it's so low. :lol:

I got a flexible piece of pipe and raised mine up to the top of my shower. I am only 5' 8" but can't stand low shower heads.

I'm about 6' or 6'1" and I have the same problem. I've gotten a few good skull gouges. The worst always seem to be hotels, I swear they sharpen those fuckin hotel shower heads!

Dude try being 6'6"...I wish I was 3 inches taller or 3 inches shorter. It's a bitch to find clothes. I wear 3xtall shirts. Going from a 2x to the 3x for a Ralph Lauren shirt is about $30 price difference. I have to order most of my shirts that I get from Old Navy from their website....

My brother-in-law, Bruce Brown (HELLUVA GREAT GUY) put a new bathtub and shower in the upstairs bathroom for me this past spring. He put the shower head really high, he was laughing about it saying he did it because I am so tall. I love it! No more stooping down to try and get all the shampoo out of my hair.

Actually I went to Norwalk a few weeks ago and the shower in the hotel had like a swan neck on it and the ceilings are only 7' in hotels but it was great. I think that is where I got spoiled because this has been a bitch my whole life since early teen years anyway. I really think my bad back is from getting showers... Fuck it I'm suing. I'll get those Bogarts one way or the other, anyone know who I could sue??j/k
