I thought I had my nitrous problems worked out at Powerfest.
But I was wrong. The solenoids are not engaging. I have tested them and they are okay.
I know I am getting power to the WOT switch cause it went through the learning mode okay.
The purge works.

Leaves the relay. How do you test them to see if they are working right.

I would have asked you nitrous guys on Sat but I had not tried to trouble shoot till today.

Any advice?

I have NX Express 3v plate system.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

you put 12V on one side of the relay, ground out the other, 12V signal into one leg and test the other leg for voltage w/ a solenoid or a meter. evertime you send power to the signal it should pull the coil closed and activate the relay.

Make sure you use a decent gauge wire. The n2o solenoid pulls alot of amps opening under 1000 psi. My purge solenoid would intermittently not work until I changed to a larger gauge wire, then it was fine.

Double check the WOT switch. I had mine wired wrong when first installed. There is a power in and only one of the other connectors is power out on my Nitrous works kit. I am not sure about your kit.

I finally checked it today and the relay is toast. No reasing from power out. And I checked the voltage in and it was fine.

Get replacement and hope no other bugs jump out.

As far as the wiring goes. It came with a harness that I shortened up.

good job. Is it a Rally relay or a no name brand?
