Hi
Well had to put down my cat today, very hard.... She was about 16 years old. According to this site http://www.pawsonline.info/cat_years.htm shes about 80 human years old. She had a hard time moving the last few months. I believe she was in pain. You could feel the bones on her back when you petted her. Took a swipe at my grandson for no reason a couple days ago. Started peeing on the rug and that was the end.
She sat on my lap about every evening while I was on the computer. She will be missed. Won't replace her, least I don't think so.. My aunt has a cat downstairs, maybe she will come visit. Vera wouldn't let Casandra upstairs, would hiss and growl if she tried to come up, she was the boss.

Had to put my cat to sleep when i was in high school, he was 18 or 19 when he started to get bad...

sucks cuz i literally grew up with that cat...

Odd thing was, my cat was born on the same day as i was in the same month as me but a year before me...

That sucks sorry to hear that. At least the cat isn't suffering in pain.
I had my cat for 18-19 years, towards the end he had a stroke. Worst part is my daughter found him sleeping and came running to me crying that he wouldn't wake up.:(

It is hard... I got up and looked where to put my feet. She was often on the floor by the bed when I woke up. It will take a while to get used to this..

Sorry to hear that Steve. Been there-done that too. Very hard. After a suitable amount of time, a new kitten helps.

Damn guy, loosing a pet is tough. The pain will heal and the great memories will cure a sad heart...eventually:(

Yeah, unfortunately it does. It sucks.

Sorry about your kitty Steve. We lost two cats within the past couple of years, broke my heart. But I have two young healthy ones now that I keep in the house (declawed, neutered, and spayed). I don't know what I'd do without those two brats, they give me a reason to go home every evening.

Sorry about your loss. :(
