I've seen that vid several times. I don't believe it's the bullet coming back. It's obviously something... but I don't believe it's the bullet.

It is the bullit in the vid. Listen close and you can hear the wirrrr of the spinning bullit and see it hit the ground just ahead of him. He is so lucky.
If you ever get to watch a machine gun shoot, watch the speed of tracers when they bounce straight up.

I heard it whistling... I just think it's something he hit rather than the bullet coming back. (but admittedly, I don't know what it was)

Not sure?? I think it was the iron piece they were holding at the end of the vid?

yeah, I think it was whatever they shot at...

I'm interested in this topic though. I think I'll research the topic. I've fired thousands of rounds and the only think I've been hit by is ejected shells. I've heard of bullet fragments coming back, but not whole bullets. NEED MORE INFO!

Interesting discussion here:

I agree with this dude:

watch the video again, if you look about 3-4 feet in front of the shooter the ricochet hits the ground and then his ear pro and like BFK said it was most likely just a small piece of shrapnel. It would have really jacked him up if it hit him and not the ear pro. Lucky dude.

He is a good shot..... bet he couldn't do that again! LOL

Seriously, he is very lucky.
