is there a big difference from a 70mm TB to a 75mm TB in performence?

not really unless you are going forced induction down the road. you will see mabey 1 or 2 HP between the 2

Just remember how ever bigger you get in TB size, the velocity of input air decreases....lessening density of the incoming air.

I wouldn't waste the money on a TB upgrade unless your going to add a power adder (S/C or Turbo) to your car some time later on, as it will not make much of a difference until you add it.

lesseng the density??? The only factors that lessen density are humidity, elvevation and temp. Throttle bodies that are too large will not hurt power in any way.
The old carb rules don't relate to fuel injection.
