So I was 19 and had been living on my own for 2 years and having a lot of problems in my life. I decided to get a dog. She was 6months old when I got her and we clicked right away. That day I got her we went and bought her a dog bed, food bowl w/food, BIG water bowl, and of course lots of toys. From that moment she was always with me. She, and I know she’s only a dog to some, but she always knew when I need her the most. She was my protector. She made me better. After about a year and a half I had moved back in w/ my parents until I could find another place to rent. When I finally did, I decided to leave her w/ my parents because she got so use to having 2 other dogs and a back yard to play in that I couldn’t take her away from that. Of course every time I got over to my parents which tends to be more then I should, Kala and I have our quality time together.
Well tonight I got a call from my parents and she has passed away unexpectedly. My parents say she just got real sick all of the sudden and they took her to the vet and the vet told them there was nothing they could do for her and she died 5 minutes later, but she was not in pain. I’m just so sad I don’t know what to do. Thanks for reading about my amazing time w/ my dog Kala. Sorry about any miss spellings crying and typing don’t go together.

Sorry to hear it. My lab Vicky is living with my dad right now, and it kills me not to be able to see her every day. I wish you the best.

Man that really Sucks.:(
It will take some time, but the pain will ease, and eventually be replaced with the good memories.:)

I am truly sorry for your loss. Losing pets can be one of the hardest things. They are part of the family.

Sorry to hear about your dog, I'd be crushed if I lost my lab "Hershey". Give it a little time and get you a puppy.

Pets are members of families. They love unconditionaly and we all love them back. It is so hard to loose a pet, no a friend. Sorry for you loss. It will take time but it will get better. Find a good pic and frame it so you can think about her and all the good memories will flood your mind.
