How many degrees of timing are you supposed to run at full advance on a F camed 5.0? Car also has Edelbrock Victor Heads.

Keep turning it up a degree or two at a time till you hear detonation OR the car slows down. Then back it off 2 degrees and have fun. I ran 18 initial with my alum tfs heads. That was NA tho. A power adder is a different story.

I have my initial set at 14-15 degrees. But I read some where that at total advance the computer tops it out at 26-27 degrees. Is this true?

I think the computer adds 26-27 degrees over your initial base timing. I once knew all that stuff, but I'm old and can't remember.....
These 2 tables might help. I believe they show how much timing the computer adds over your initial base timing.
It looks like the A9P is slightly more agressive than the A9L.
