I was thinking aobut putting in a 351 or so in say a 2002gt and keeping the fuel injection. Is this possiable, and or what issues will i run into trying this set up? I thank all of you for you info.

Anything is possible. Going from a Mod motor car to a Pushrod motor will have some problems with computor stuff. It will be easyier if the car is a 5speed manual trans. I dont know if you can keep the eec5 computor system or dummy it back to eec 4.

You would be better off trying to find a 5.4l Lightning motor that already has the injector/computer set-up if you are looking for cubicinch increases.

that would be a cool project ... love the looks of the 99-04's (cobra nose & wingless) & love 351's stroked out ... i've seen one done (carb'd) i would like to see one fuel injected ... :bigthumb

Thanks for all your comments, i am in the planning stage and you just never know what will happen.

I love the 197 but my budget does not. I think it would be killer to have a wingless 02gt stroked 351 fuel injected thats force feed. I just dont want to take on too much of a project.
