Wondering if anyone knew of any scrap yards that are somewhat close to the butler county area? Going to send the wrecked stang to its burial grounds here soon. tired of it sitting around. Anyone know the price of metal these days? lol

Not sure of their name. But, there's a place somewhere near edgewater that was paying the most ( like .70 more p/pd). A buddy hauled some from amelia there last week. Maybe someone from that area knows who I'm talking about:confused: ., Mike

i'm pretty involved in scrappin'....after all its free money ;)

I dont do cars or anything, but I'm gettin about $160 per ton on brake rotors and other steel like that. Thats at 8 cents per lb.

we scrapped our old Ranger at Phipps (?) out in goshen-cozzaddale area a few years back...i think we got like $120 for that.

Happy Scrappin!
