Well about a month ago I thought I was doing good in buying their delta plate part# 3001 for my coupe. I finally got time over the holiday weekend to try and install all of this new wonderful equipment that I have spent way too much money one lately. Anyway here is my problem it seams these plates are made right at an 1/8" to small to actually fit in the strut tower. I have contacted Hotchkis and their tech guy has said they have had no issues with the fitting of these parts. The only way I can see to make these actually fit on the car is by drilling my strut tower and that is something I do not think I should have to do with a 230+ dollar part that is supposed to be top notch.
Has anyone had any dealings with their stuff before and is this common with them ? I was planning on getting their sway bars and control arms but after this I think I may stay away from their product from now on.

Can you take a photo to show the issue?

I will do that tomorrow when I get home from work. I have taken my calipers and measured between the back studs and the front stud, then compared that to stock the Hotchkis ones are smaller. Thanks.

Ok I finally got the pictures uploaded tonight, I know it may now seam like a lot of difference between the Hotchkis and stock brackets but its enough to make them not fit. I thought maybe I would hear something else back from Hotchkis but I have not heard anything back after two more emails I sent them. I did hear back from my first email and they basically said there is no issues with their product that they know of but have had some "tweaking" of the brackets during shipping. Anyway here are the pictures I took, I did zero out my calipers on the Hotchkis brackets.
Checking the difference at the bottom of the studs.

Again, I know this does not seam like a lot but this kind of money I would expect them to actually fit. I payed a lot less for my HPM plates that fit like the stock ones. I know all I need to do is drill out the "top" bolt hole in the strut tower but my concern is that there may be too much slop there after I do this and will make it impossable to get a true alignment.

I dont see why drilling out the holes would hurt you, I drilled out my holes to re-use the stock plates with coil overs....no problem, just gives you more adjustment room!

well I got them drilled today it took a 5/8" hole to make the brackets fit. hopefully I can get my rack swapped out tomorrow and get the front end back under this thing.
