longtubes on p heads

Will the summit brand longtubes part # sum-g9030 fit p heads? Has anyone every used them. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think those are the same as the cheap flowtech headers which don't work very well at all on p heads. I had good luck with a set of mac 1 5/8 lt's for a 5sp on my old p head 302 motor...had to use a few 90 deg. spark plug boots to clear a few header tubes.

I'm running some 1 3/4" bbk longtubes w/ p-heads.... 5 spd. car..
I would like to put some 90* boots on #7 and #8 but for now, I just
have those boot sleeves and it seems to be working rather well...
My longtubes are coated if that makes a difference.... :rolleyes:

I just put a set of plugs in the heap last week... that's a little tricky...
first time I've used a wrench on a spark plug socket.. I definitely don't
want to change those when it's hot... :o

I can't say about the Summit headers but MAC full lengths work just fine.
