I found a guy with a 1970 boss block with 4 bolt mains for a good deal. How much power will these hold? Thanks, Eddie.

They should hold decent power. Depends on how much you are trying to make. I would sell it to the collector and buy a new Dart or New Boss block.

yup let the resto guys have the old boss blocks. But if the price is right then flip it and make a few bucks.

There is a guy in harrison that used to post on here a little bit, his name is mondostocker, he broke a boss block shifting at 7000 rpm, running mid 11's all motor. I dont think they are that great for making serious power. I agree w/ others, leave them to the resto guys and buy a new boss block if you need to hold big power.
At the same time, Ive been running a mex block for 3 yrs, probably 60-70 passes, currently running mid 10's, shifting at 6400.
