The frame rail... and the fiberglass hood on my Buick Grand National make for fantastic places to rest spare parts until you can get around to them. :)

Details on the 432 -

SPEEDOMOTIVE 4340 FORGED 4.170" STROKER CRANK, 6.125" LENGTH FORGED FULL FLOATING I-BEAM RODS, PROBE FORGED DISH-TOP PISTONS, TOTAL SEAL MAX MOLY DUCTILE PLASMA MOLY FILE TO FIT RINGS, CLEVITE TRI-ARMOR H-SERIES MAIN & ROD BEARINGS, BALANCED EXTERNALLY, FORD SEASONED 2BOLT BLOCK WITH EDELBROCK VICTOR 70cc ALUMINUM FULLY ASSEMBLED HEADS, SCE TITAN HEAD GASKETS, THE Camshaft IS COMP CAMS #35-250-4 HYDRAULIC FLAT TAPPET .541 / .544 LIFT, COMP CAMS LIFTERS, MANLEY PUSHRODS. This is a Zero Deck Quench Motor Build and with 70cc heads, the Compression Ratio is 10 to 1. STAINLESS STEEL ROLLER TIP ROCKER ARMS, ARP HEAD BOLTS AND SPECIAL VALVE SPRINGS, SFI 164 TOOTH MCLEOD STANDARD TRANS FLYWHEEL, PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS 6.4" DIA. HARMONIC BALANCER, CNC MACHINED BLOCK.

This motor is replacing a fresh 347 stroker that now sits in the garage in a corner. I always wanted a stroker 351W and came across this motor. After months of debating when I would get around to making it happen I finally got off my rear and started twisting wrenches.

I'm awaiting some parts... a steering coupler (the stocker wouldn't work with the BBK headers in the way), and a 1985 carb throttle cable. I'll probably get it going in NA form first... and then to the local dyno before trying on a carb hat so I can dial in the Air/Fuel ratio.

It has a TKO 600 transmission, Lakewood bellhousing, Spec 3 clutch, 3.55 gears 8.8 rear and 31 spline axles. It should scoot.

I'm routing vacuum lines now that I tapped the carb spacer.

The electrical wiring madness is being confronted.

- MSD box wiring for the 6AL and Boost Retard boxes (Accomplished the vacuum line for this as well)
- MSD Coil is mounted in place - need to figure out leads to it.
- The Electric water pump and Electric fan is "next"
- Installing the Starter is on the agenda too.

I should be real close tomorrow. When you are adding fluid to things like the transmission... you know you are almost there.

I need radiator hoses, Battery Cable connector, and some vacuum pieces.

I'll take some more pics...

I'm sorry, I despise people using cars as storage points. I've seen good old paint ruined along with stress dents from the weight over the years.

Seems almost disrespectful to the car to me.

Now the 432 stroker........holy shit batman!
