Hello....you can call me the resident '80s metal specialist :D

It depends on what part of the '80s you liked...some of it was the glitter/hair bands like Poison and Ratt, some of it was thrash metal like Slayer and Metallica. You can't go wrong with some Iron Maiden for a middle of the road kind of metal/rock music.

I know it's cheaper to make an 80s cd mix....the best would be to get Sirius (XM may have their version of it too) and just listen to the 80's station and or the Hair Nation channels.....never a bad song, really...ever. Just switch to one of the others and you will find a good song.

If you ask me, the best part of '80s metal/rock came from the early '90s...when the bands had grown up and really put forth their best. Of course that doesn't apply to all of them but a lot of them.

Very true...and then came grunge. Doh! Some of the early 90s grunge/ anti metal stuff has grown on me but not much.

Absolutely! 80's metal/hair bands were the best. I love 18 and life; but I prefer to jam to Youth Gone Wild.
