ok so yesterday i was driving it was all good then i did a quick shift and when i went to stepped back on the clutch it was really hard and made like a ratcheting sound after that my brake lights have been stuck on. The sound is coming from under the dash has anyone had a problem like this before btw this is in my 95

Sounds like you either pulled the brake light switch out of it's holder on the brake pedal arm, or pinched the wire to it.

Oh Snap! I cant say I've ever heard of any one doing something like that! Haha, I dont mean to laugh at you, I'm laughing at how difficult it is going to be fix.... Better be taking that driver seat out and get comfortable with your head IN your dash.

so i have figured out what the clutch pedal is doing but the fucking brake lights are begining to piss me off so i replaced the switch it didnt keep the lights from staying so i unplugged it the lights still stayed on and when i sit at a red light with turn signal and brakes on it starts to smoke from under the dash then the fuse will pop, i can see where the wires have gotten hot but havent tracked down the break in the line if all else fails im buying a new fucking stang and driving this bitch straight into a wall

I would bet it is your multi funtion switch /Turn signal switch. Your brake lights are run through that switch also.
