I blew up my 351w last Aug and at the time I was prepping to swap in my 408w. Well, in the process I decided I was driving the whole Hot Rod Power Tour and started heavily modifying the car. One project lead into another and I pretty much redid the whole car. I'll post up pics soon, cardomain is down at the moment.
Engine and drivetrain:
1969 408w short block
351C 2v heads modified for BOSS 302 use
B&A TRACK BOSS 351W intake
351C swap headers for 65/66 Mustang, modified for Clevor
Trick Flow Stage 2 roller cam with 1.73 roller rockers
Speed Demon 750 built for blow-through
main girdle
modified stock oil pan, (now holds 11 quarts!)

-adapted to Lakewood sbf bellhousing
-custom pilot bearing
-modified trans tunnel
custom shifter handle
Spec stage 3 cluth
Custom driveshaft
modified foxbody trans x-member
Magnaflow complete 3" stainless steel kit (modified for tranny clearance)
Suspension: delete all bushings
Roller bearing spring perches
modified Shelby drop 1.75"
upper control arms: change balljoint angle
lower control arms: add spherical bearings and screw in balljoints
Adjustable strut rods
Vario-camber kit
shock towers notched for engine clearance
spherical bearing rod end under ride traction bars
Misc:
6 Gauge instrument cluster
-Autometer Ultralite gauges
-boost gauge added
-Electric speedo
--driveshaft monted reluctor ring for speed sensor
2006 Viper seats
Aeromotive A1000 pump
20 Gal fuel cell
1/2 fuel line
3/8 return line
boost indexed fuel pressure regulator
Wideband O2 sensor
Still working on:
Vortech supercharger
Aluminum leaf spring bushings
Moser 31 spline axles
Currie 3.70 3rd member
adjustable strut tower brace
mounting speed sensor
front end alignment
I fired the engine up for the first time this past Friday. My friend says it sounds like a NASCAR racer. I need to borrow a video camera so I can post a clip.
The car isn't done yet but I'll post pics soon.
