I know there are kits out there but can you just take them off and run a smaller belt from the alternator to the wp to the crank pulley and if so does anyone have any pics or know what belt size it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Ryan

If you run the belt on the other side of the WP you'll be turning it in the incorrect direction. You might be able to purchase a water pump that is designed to turn in the oposite direction.

As long as the flat side of the belt is on the waterpump pulley it is going the right direction.
