Well my 2001 Lightning is going to be turbocharged. I am selling my Whipple ( I never even installed it) and trading for a PTK turbo kit. I'm going to pick the kit up tommorrow. I will post pics of the kit and the build. My previous combo got me an 11.67@115. The blower combo dynoed 510/600 and with a 100 shot of laughing gas 588/735. I'm hoping to see upward of 700+ with the turbo.

Good lookin' farm truck;) Obviously, it's not about how many bales of hay actually make it from the field to the loft. But, how long it took you to get there:lol:

UPDATE Alan Brown aka Dirtydog Performance built me a killer triple disk converter for my turbo application. He also had my factory trans freshened up a bit. We are now in the process of doing the head gaskets on the motor and the VT cams. We started last night and got the new head gaskets on and the VT cams installed. We will be degreeing them tonight. I will take some pics and post them. Some it will be on the road again.

I fired the truck up on Sunday night for the first time in over a year and a half. It idled on the factory tune. I found 2 major leaks that need attention. The 1st being the oil leak from the drivers side valve cover. The 2nd being the trans leaking from the rear cooler line. I have alot of electrical wiring to do and vac. plumbing. Its coming along, SLOWLY.

From my past experiences being on the farm, 4 wheel drive is usually necessary!

I had the truck dyno tuned by Ken at Modular Depot on the past Sat. He had to dial the truck in at 12 psi first and then we increased the boost to 15 psi. We made these results. The red graph is at 15 psi and the blue is at 12 psi.

I will work with this and turn up the wick later in the year.

yeah i live in franklin. ive been going to MD for tunes along with my brother and some other guys for a few years. ken has been great he has treated us very well. i can't wait to get my blower ported and some other mods and get this one to him. i go to tri-state, edgewater, and kilkare a lot, so when they open i'm game.
