I've got the cheaper kyb's on my car and have had a good experience. Also put them on my freinds car when we lowered it, with good results as well. another benifit of the kyb's is they have a lifetime warranty.

Strange. I have QA1's on my car, brand new and one of rear shocks is locked up and will not adjust. Go with Strange or if you are in that tax bracket go for Santhuffs

Unless Santhuffs have come down a few thousand I was thinking some stock replacment type street car stuff.

Yeah, I've had some KYB gas-a-just shocks on my car since I bought it, and they seem to work fine. The ride is ok, and it hooks ok without making the ride too scary.

Koni's are not too bad expensive, while I have not gotten to ride on mine yet I just bought a set from www.ajusa.com for a good bit cheaper then jegs/summit plus the free S/H. I bought the "specials" which are adjustable but you have to take them off of the car to adjust :( .

I lied, I don't know if its the springs or the struts and shocks but the car does NOT ride very well. Drove it for a while today, and its pretty rough...
