Well this is what the are talking about!
This happened on 275 at 74 on Sunday.
The guy behind me pulled over asked if we needed help.
I told him no thanks and then he precided to say it looked like we were going into turn three at Talladega when it let go!

Ya it's the new one.
I'm thinking of a heavily built stroker motor.
Maybe an F1 this time?
Need to talk to some people and figure out what way to go.
Nothing going to happen right now.
While it's down it will probably go to Rob at Rigid for alittle work.:)

that weird. usually its 4 and 8 that go bad due to lack of coolant flow. to kill 1 and 7 is just skills.

Hey, Like I've said in the past, If you going to do it, give it all you got!
Seriously it broke at just over 3,500rpm's.
I should say that is when it desided to finish itself off.
I'll post pictures of the new end table when it's out of the car!:HYF:

Hi Ben,
Don't know what you are going to do about a motor, I would be SOL for a while, til I could come up with some money... You might try a junk yard for a motor maybe one hit in the back or something. To get you going for a while.. and start a rebuild. Just a thought..

Steve, I have a couple irons in the fire. Yes, money is also an issue. I'm going to take my time with it and do it up right when I do it. As you know the build up was going to happen this coming winter anyway. Just didn't want to lose the whole summer. A used motor for the time being is also a possibility. I'm sure I could find another car to put it in.

I'm thinkin a 5.4..... start with a truck motor.... end up with a shelby motor.....maybe with a nice supercharger on top.... ;)
