Has anybody seen a kit for timing cover and water pump bolts that has the double-studded things like the factory bolts are? I still have the 15-year-old stock, rusty bolts, and would love to get something a little nicer before I put my timing cover back on.

I was looking at the ARP kit, but they just have the bolts, and I don't know how I'd get my accessory brackets to line up right without the studs. Anything else out there?

I haven't seen any. If you can get them sandblasted, (That is what I did to mine), They look a lot better.

Maybe I'll just clean the stockers up on the wire wheel and give them a shot again.

May be your best bet.

Looking at the ARP, they look long enough, but there is the space that the stock bolt (head) take up, that's I wonder about.

Yeah, they'd probably be long enough, but I want to have studs for my brackets. If for some reason I have to take off an accessory bracket, I'd rather not risk breaking my timing cover or water pump seal.

If you're looking for the WP bolt/stud units, you may want to check the available kit at the big chain auto parts stores......Motormite: 23744

There was a S/S kit for the pump/timing cover that is no longer available.....unfortunately.
