I have a turbo kit on my car, I have not found a way to reroute the clutch cable around the headers, so I have put plug wire heat sheilds, with header wrap around them (2 layers), and a head shroud wrapped around all that. Every week i still have to buy another cable due to melting on the inside of the cable (teflon center of cable) what can i do to stop the melting?

http://www.maximummotorsports.com/ goto drivetrain, then clutch cables. Check the universal cable. Supposed to be a bit longer than the original. Guys over on TM recommended it.

You might have to cut and reroute some piping if you cant get enough clearance with a longer cable. Im going to have to keep this in mind if I ever decide to go back to a stick car.
