not quite that bad really, lol
went riding yesterday, took a killer ride,
hit some lil country back road like 1 lane wide, come to a 95 degree or so bend, going maybe 5 mile an hour, i look 2 bikes up, (12 of us there) there goes gene and his bike
his bike does a 180 and he's straight splat out on the ground face first.
funny thing was, not 1 thing on his bike was cracked or broke, just a little scuffing. 3 hours earlier he was talking about the new paint job he was gonna do, guess sooner is better than later
most important, we were glad he was ok, walked away without a scratch,
someones gotta tell the story, i know he's not lol :D
btw gene, i got home and told my wife, and she was like "is that the guy here 2 weeks ago talking about what a great rider he was" :flipoff: lol :HYF:

Nothing hurt except some scratched bodywork and a bruised ego. :D
First time I've been down on the street since 1998, so I guess it was about time. I'm just glad that the bike was still rideable...with the exception of the bit of pavement surfing yesterday was a perfect day out. :cool1:
btw gene, i got home and told my wife, and she was like "is that the guy here 2 weeks ago talking about what a great rider he was"
When did I brag about how great a rider I was? :evilflip: :HYF:

Lol...don't be mean to Beefcake...this is just all in good fun. We were joking about the incident yesterday and I said that I couldn't bring myself to post up about it, so he did it instead. :D
Went out for another ride yesterday, 275 mile trip down to Morehead, KY. Kept both wheels on the ground this time. ;)

I could start another internet war and post some Gene quotes about "sportbikes being safer than cruisers due to their better handling characteristics", but I'll pass. ;)
Glad you're okay buddy. :bigthumb

The only reason a cruiser may have been safer is that you couldn't make a turn like that on a cruiser without slowing to about 5mph. ;)
