How about a SS....or GT500....or GT500 KR....or GT500 SS....without the 5 words in front of it. I wish they would just scrap the Shelby name and get it completely out of there.

I agree...i loved the classic Shelbys, but now all i think about when i hear the word is Dodge Shelby Daytonas. It's a sales pitch...there's nothing more special about those cars than any SVT had.

I think it's stupid that they keep building high dollar Mustangs when the base GT still has a long way to catch up to the competition.

How about dropping the '04 Cobra drivetrain (only in 3V format) into the GT and have it as the base GT engine/trans, with the same 390hp rating?

Yeah, it's the kid in me that gets excited about it....the idea that the home team is putting up a good fight against the opposition. Aside from that, i'll probably never even sit in one, let alone drive or own one so they may as well be unicorns to me.
