Ok today I was trying to put in my single 12" sub and realized there is no way in hell the box is going to go through the tiny space into the huge trunk. Anyone have a box that fits in the hole?lol If so, could I get some dimensions so I can make my own? I hate to get rid of this box too, its a nice heavy duty box thats in perfect shape.:(

I have one 12" sub in my Cobra (was previously in my 98 GT, 00 GT and 01 Cobra)

I'll get some pics and measurements for you....it's a premade box that just barely fits in on an angle and fits back in the rear passenger side corner of the trunk. I have an Alpine V-12 amp (2x50 bridged to 1x125) going to a 12" Kicker Solobaric sub and it sounds DAMN good with the stock Mach 460 system. :bigthumb

Awesome. Id really appreciate it. Or where did you buy it at? I may just end up buying one if itll fit. Just looking to gain a little more bass over the already great sounding mach460 setup. I installed my Pioneer cd player yesterday and I decided to add the sub now too.:D

When I bought the sub it was in this box. I think it's just a normal hatchback box for a 12" sub.

See the one I have is a premade hatch box and its like 1" too big on each end. No way itll fit. I guess they make them in many different sizes. If you could still get me the measurements Ill try to find a company that makes them. Id appreciate it!

I have to slide mine in and out on an angle....the sub is facing the top of the trunk and it has to be tilted when going in and out.

Maybe you can get over to the Westside on Tuesday and meet up with us down at Meier.....it'll be easier to show you in person.

Yeah I tried putting mine in at every different angle. Its just a bigger single box so its a no go.lol I doubt Id be able to make it to the west side this week. But thanks. Just whenever you get a chance if you could get some measurements, no rush.

I have always pulled my dual 12" box from inside the car. lay the back seats down and take the rear bracket loose and bend it down. never had a problem doing it this way.

My box with 2 12's went in from the front as well with just a little trimming of the metal

Do you guys have the mach460 too? Seems that the enclosure for it hung down too low to fit my box from the front. It was one of the bigger single hatch boxes though. But I just ended up trading the 12 for two tens.lol They fit perfectly and sound great. Thanks for the info though guys!

Ahhh ok. I liked the way mine sounds for now so itll stay. Im sure Ill get an itch to switch it up eventually though.lol With my Pioneer headunit I just took most of the bass out of the stockers and they scream.

I'm running my entire 460 system plus a 1 farad capacitor, an Alpine V-12 amp (50x2) bridged to 125x1 running to a 12" Kicker Solobaric sub.

An idea may be to build a box using the spare tire well as part of the box..thats what we did for my 2 12s. the box basically was in the shape of a "muffin"...well a square muffin. :)

It slams like a son of a bitch too.

Wow thats a kickass setup you got there man! Id love to do something like that but I worry about getting a flat and being stuck with no spare.lol
