So, Ive been thinking about buying an exploder motor, and I was curious what all i would have to change over to make the engine work in my '88 fox, (car has computer and wiring from an '89 GT) or even a swap into an sn95, such as my '94 that i am praying makes it to 200K, Im sure most things would be obvious such as timing cover, oil pan/pickup, anyone else know what needs changed over? thanks!

I think the cam is different from the mustang HO cam.

Correct. The firing order is different. You'll also need to install a dizzy instead of the coil pack setup. And use the tb off of your stang, unless you know a machinist who can mill the tb rod off your fox and make it work in the 65mm tb housing from the explorer. the exp. throttle pulls from the front, the mustang pulls form the back.

I was told the firing order was the same?
