i just bought a mgw shifter cause i heard they where the best and i cant get it to work right it wont go into gears sometimes, it pops out of gear sometimes and if i losen the stops up just a little bit there is alot of play in it and it seems like it is coming up out of the tranny where the shifter goes in

did you put your stock shifter back in and did it shift with no problem? did you get the T45 one? is the shifter bushing still in the lever end?

mabey its because the new shifter has stiffer springs in it so it kicks it out of gear easier then the old one. I have a 6 year old Steeda Tri ax that kicks me out of 5th every so often.
