Havent drove it alot but when I went out to burn the rest of it out. I could tell a major difference in how smooth the powerband was. Used to kinda jerk when the IMRC plates would open up. Revs like butter, nice and smooth.

Mines getting that jerk too. It has 78K miles. How many on yours? I have the Sea Foam for it, going to try and run it through tomorrow.

Dumb Question:
Do you add Seafoam to the fuel tank directly?

Seafoam is used to help clean the IMRC plates without having to tear down to do a complete cleaning...Most people run it through about every 5k...or every other oil change. You can pick it up at autozone for like 7 bones...its an old school looking can white with red ornate writing on it....it sticks out cause it looks completely out of date... Seafoam is ran through the PVC Valve on the 4.6... on 5.0 cobras its ran through vacuum line going to the brake booster. Your not suppose to run it through the gas tank...I always use Lucas Fuel treatment to clean the gas/injectors. My cobra has 83k on it. That jerk started a few hundred miles ago when the IMRC plates would open. Fixed that right up!:D

I've heard good thinks about that stuff, I wanna run it through the hatch. She has 280K on her and a slight stumble in the idle.
