just checked my fuel pressure with a brand new gauge, reads 30# when primed, then when started it gets 30# at idle, this is one of my last ditch efforts to find out why my engine light came on yesterday, Ive heard that that i should be getting 35-40# at the rail, is this a sign that my 181K mile fuel pump is going bad??:D
and if indeed it is bad, any recomendations on pumps? and adjustable pressure regulators??
thanks!:bigthumb

Did you check it with the vacuum line removed? Take the line off of the regulator, hold your thumb over the line, and check the pressure then. Rev it a bit to make sure the pressure is steady at idle as well as up in the RPMs a bit.

what was the code? I doubt the fuel pump is a problem if ur getting 30# with the vac on.
