Brake help-Jeep Commanche

Not sure if this is the right place for this thread. But I need some info.

Went to change brake pads on the Commanche.

The hex wrench to remove the pads is not a 1/4 or 6mm and its not 5/16 or 8mm.

Is the dam tool a special?

If anyone now or before had one of these Jeeps, and changed the brakes yourself, could enlighten me on any info on this topic would be deeply appreciated.

Are you sure its not a Torx head (looks more like a star than a hex)?

Can't say for sure, the rubber that surrounds it makes it hard to see anything. Cant get my big azz head in there to really see. But that is definitely worth looking into. Did not even cross my mind about the Torx head.
