"Pinks Donations" A Challenge to all.

We are looking at the big picture and the big picture says we will need every red blooded gear banging tire smoke race fuel sniffing bumper draggin one of your help. The pinks coupe is at Riged Race Cars getting some love RIGHT NOW.http://www.rigidracecars.com/ There is a long list of donated parts and we are going to make one bad ass mustang. Do you believe I do. I am going down to CincySpeed and making a Donation to the Pinks Fund. If you have ever built a car you know how much the little stuff costs and that is what we are going to be faced with a bunch of little stuff. You and I both know that you would love to watch Pinks on Tv and tell your friends that you were involved in the build of that car. You can! All money and parts will be used for the build only. All proceeds from the build (Both our car and the car we WIN) Will go to Holly to help her keep on keep'n on.

With you Help and Vinnys guidance from above we can do this.

"I just talked with Craig@Cincy and Mike@Dayton5.0 and both have agreed to accept cash donations and keep a running tab of cash we have available so we can order parts directly through them. I believe they also have paypal so you can contact them for paypal information.

They have also agreed to allow people to drop off parts for the build so I can pick them up weekly and save myself some running around. Let me know if anyone has anymore questions thanks.

Timido is right if everyone pitches in $20 or even more if possible it will help out tremendously in getting the car done. Thanks for bringing this up Tim I think if everyone kicks in just a little bit we can finish this car with no problem. Alot of people have stepped up and donated big for this project and I think we can still get most of the things we need donated. Thanks to everyone for the help I dont want people to think of this as my build but its OUR build

Thanks mustangboy. Also I would like to thanks everyone that has donated and help with this project. It has been tons of work so far and we have a lot more to come. We really need to try to get more people involved in the build or we are not going to make it. We have had a few vendors back out on some parts dontations and we are in a bind. We still need to purchase the following

I can donate head/intake gaskets. The head gaskets are mr gasket silicor, pt # 5751. I have had the same set on my car fot 3 yrs without failure. I also have some 1262 int gaskets. I still have the spindles that were donated by junk89lx/89coupester.

I saw the car yesterday, Chris did an awesome job painting it, it looks great! Him and Matt Johnson were out in the garage sweating their asses off working on it.

Jenn (Matt's girl) and I are booked on the scary Skybus flight leaving Thursday night (August 9) and coming home on Saturday out of Columbus. $100 round trip, per person.

I was promised the suspension is shipped. No worries on gaskets, timing chain, etc. I have all that covered all ready. My torque plate came in today so the engine will be finished out soon. Can you get me the head studs soon? I need them to bolt on the torque plate. I will post up the details and pics of the engine build as it progresses.

Need to bump this. The rims and tires we have are borrowed and we need to purchase a new set of rims. I have a set of tires we are going to use so we need to come up with some more money. Anything helps if you can spare 20 thats cool. All donations go to Cincy Speed and craig will be ordering the wheels. Also we owe dayton 5.0 some money on a set of plug wires that we still need to pay for some if someone up north wants to help out you can drop yours off to Dayton 5.0

I would like to take a minute to thank everyone who took the time to chip in for the Pinks Car. Without your help none of this would be what it is. No one person working on this car could swing money around buying everything. Every little bit did count. Your $50, Trans cooler, Powerglide, 8.8, Starter, Radiator, Driveshaft, Tires, Wheels, etc were going down the track and Helped Matt Johnson do what he had to do.
