$6.85 per hour + about $60-85 in tips for 3-4hrs of work per night. Not a bad gig for two nights a week.

I had a blast racing for the first time in two years.

I made it to the second round, where I got lined up with Craig. I knew it was over after that. :lol:

I need to get to Tri State and get some runs in (PRACTICE). Da coupe was pretty consistent tonight, running 15.8 the first time (had a little incident with second gear), then a 15.0, so I dailed in at 15.0 and ran a 15.28, then a 15.37.

I don't care if I won or not, I HAD FUN. I was ready to come home though, my feet hurt from standing so long.

Craig and Shawna - thanks for the food! Ponymom and Craigels - thanks for the drink. (I came unprepared this time).

It was just fun. I need to make myself to get the track more often, even Tri State on Saturdays. It puts you in another state of mind, one which I need to be in more often. ;)

Sorta had a good time....between hurling every 1/2 hour and other things you don't wanna know about (damn stomach virus) I managed to go 2 rounds and pick up 10 more points. Cut my best light ever .008, and best all motor pass to date 13.54@100.16. Cant wait to feel better and do it again. Thanks to everyone with the waters and drugs.

im right with you (joe), i was very sick but managed to make it all day ... i learned a valuable lesson, never mess with a dyno tune from ken ~ i ran 12.40's instead of 11.40's ... i will put my car back to kens tune this week ... i guess once you have your car dyno'd with a certain combination, you should never make changes? ... now i need to work on suspension ... see you guys at the next one!

yes he was parked next to me ... he was a very nice guy ... that supercharged goat made 532 rwhp ... its been 121 mph through the traps ... too bad those cars cant launch, or he would be running some deep 11's ...

yesterday was a beautiful day to be outside. the turnout was awesome. it made for some pretty nice payouts too at $285 & $160 for the final round. add Craig's gift cards and it sure makes for a great night at the track. lots of nice cars. it was nice not to see many redlights too. guess everybody's getting back into the rhythm.

Thanks for the info. Craigels had to be at work at 6AM, so we had to leave after my "leave-a-day-early" blunder and didn't get to see the last runs. What a great day it was. Thanks to you! You explained it all to me, and I listened! That was the first I had been in a "real" race, other than just test and tune. If it wasn't for Craig, I probably would have lost the first round, he gave me the whole "watch your rear view mirror" speech - don't go too fast! I might have broke out of that big 15.2 if he I had not listened to him. :D

Don't feel bad for putting me out, I was ready to go home by then anyway! I got 4 runs in, which is a lot for me at Edgewater. :lol:
