Based on the good experience that I had selling my '85 GT to Maximus, I decided to try a listing for my '88 LX. I've had the car since 1997 and have done quite a bit to it. Some of you may remember seeing it at the Cavalcade of Customs in Cincinnati as well as at some other ISCA shows over the last few years. It's in great condition, and has always been kept in the garage. Hasn't seen any rain for years. Unfortunately, I've been so busy with work and other commitments that I really haven't had the time to enjoy this car in the recent years. So...I've come to a point where I'd like to sell it to someone else who might enjoy it as much as I have over the years. Here's a summary of parts/features of the car. I'm sure I'll forget something. I'll try to include plenty of pictures for anyone interested.

1988 LX factory option delete car. That means it didn't come with AC or a radio. It has no power options, only manual windows, manual locks, and NO rear defroster. It does have a CD player with an amp and speakers now. Here's a summary of parts:
Interior
• Corbeau seats
• RCI harnesses
• Autometer Ultra-lite Gauges
• Kenny Brown 6 pt Street Cage
• UPR Billet shifter
• Brushed aluminum trim pieces
• New gray carpet
• Saleen 200MPH speedo
• AFM ashtray switch panel for nitrous

Suspension
• FRPP ‘C’ Springs
• Subframe Connectors
• Strut Tower Brace

Motor
• 306 CID ’88 302 bored 0.030”
• Assembled by Bischoffs Engine Service
• FRPP ‘E’ Cam
• Forged Pistons
• Ported Heads
• Ported GT-40 Intake
• Flow Balanced 24lb/hr Injectors
• 255 LPH Fuel Pump
• 75mm Pro-M Mass Air Meter
• 65mm Accufab Throttle Body
• FRPP Mass Air Conversion
• PMS Unit
• 150HP NOS with Remote Valve and Bottle Warmer
• 1 5/8” Shortie Headers
• Off Road H-Pipe
• Solid Mounts
• All March Polished Aluminum Pulleys
• Smog Pump Eliminator

Driveline
• Tremec 3550 5 Speed Transmission
• Centerforce Dual-Friction Clutch
• Steeda Adjustable Clutch Cable/ Quadrant
• 3.55 Gears
• 17”x9” Ford Cobra ‘R’ Wheels (5 lug)
• Cooper Cobra ZHP 245/45ZR17 tires
• 13” Baer Brakes on Front (Track kit) Slotted, Cross-Drilled, Zinc Washed
• 12.65” Baer Brakes on Rear (Touring kit) Slotted, Cross-Drilled, & Zinc Washed

There's a lot of time and money invested in this car. Willing to sacrifice for $16,500

Did you use to go to NKU years ago, seems like I use to see a car just like that over there?

Thats right. It's a "programmable management system" used to adjust the settings of the factory computer. Allows for adjustment of the fuel and timing curves at different throttle positions, among other things. It also controls the nitrous system.

Hey Todd,
Thought you sold that car years ago when you were going to move.
Remember years back I did the plumbing at your house, I think it was your bathroom. I knew the car from when Mark Duebber owned it. That car is too sweet! Another project in the works?

Ben, long time, no see. I thought about selling it back then, but decided not to. It's a fun car. Just haven't had time to even drive it lately. Cleaning out the garage these days. I'm hoping someone will enjoy it as much as I have. Seems like a shame to have it just sitting in the garage. There are always projects in the works, just not cars at the moment. Hope things are going well.

I've had a few people express interest, but like me, no one has any money. So I'll reduce the price to $15,500.

Remembered a few things that I forgot. The car has all new front lights, Crane HI-6 ignition, Crane PS-91 coil, 2-chamber flowmasters, LeCarra steering wheel, Sanja 3" cowl hood. I still have most of the receipts for parts that I've bought.

This is a really sweet car. Don't kick yourself for not even looking at it. There's well over $20,000 in parts invested in this car. I'm going to be moving soon, and want to sell before I leave. Don't let this one get away.
