Need some exhaust advice

Long story short, i hit my back right bumper and it pinched the tailpipe that goes over the axle and it was resting on the rear sway bar, so i just ended up taking off the tailpipe and i plan on taking off the tailpipe to the other side so my question is will the underbody be ok with the exhaust exiting there??? thanks

if its that big of a concern, get a couple of turndown tips from autozone or somewhere so the exhaust points down instead of heating your floorboards

running turndowns would be your cheapest way to fix. don't let the pipes blow directly back. they will heat up your axle tubes which you don't want. depending on what mufflers you have on their now you can probally get a 2 1/4 or 2 1/2" turndowns. the best way to do it is get them at least tack welded in place. that way they will not fall off on the road
