The one I had was a little stiffer than a stock, but considerably stiffer than a centerforce.

My stage III wasn't too bad. A lot of times an old worn cable can be the part of the problem. They are great clutches. My Centerjunk always slipped do to the power and I went through two of them..... the Spec held the power and was Great.

I use to run a Spec stage 3 w/ 6 puck carbon disk behind my 347 when I ran a tremec in the car. The clutch pedal was pretty stiff...seemed to get alittle better once it was broke in well. The stage 3 worked great for me...held up to 1.4 60's and was still streetable enough for me. I pulled the tranny and clutch out after a season...clutch still looked brand new to me.

just picked up a new bottom end for my car and it had a king cobra clutch I believe(has the blue springs and nylon piece in the disc). the pressure plate looked identical to my spec and was alot nicer no heat marks, just wasnt painted blue. It should be ok with the spec disc right?
