No, that is a common swap. I am doing it to my 95 very soon. Take a look here.

Tim, does the tps wiring have to be spliced or can the plug for a fox be repinned to the sn95 wiring? On my coupe, the turbo 4 swap instuctions said to cut and splice, but I noticed that the wire ends were the same so I removed them from the mass air meter and repinned the vam meter plug that was on the turbo coupe.

every one I have seen shows that you cut and splice from the 94/95 wiring to the fox tps connector. If the pins are the same style, I don't see why you couldn't just swap em. I will make a little project thread when I do it.

If there is no vaccum tree, where is the line to the fuel pressure regulator coming from?
You can also get the cruise to work again with a fox cruise control cable.
