Never fear the gear - go 4.10's you won't regret it! One of the best butt-o-meter mods I have ever done. :bounce: Gas mileage? Who cares about that? If you are worried about gas mileage by a prius!

No 4.10's should be Aok for everyday driving and don't worry your gas mileage should still be in the high-teens I would think depending on how heavy your foot is. :bigthumb

4.10s would be a nice for a DD/track car. I'm thinking about uping mine from 3.73s to a 4.10

Chuck Carter put 3.73 gear in da coupe a few years back for me.

I didn't notice a bit of difference in the gas mileage. You might want to ask him, he's "Chuck" on the board.

I went from 3.73 to 4.10 and didnt notice any change in mileage. It was getting mid 20s on the highway.

Since your car is an auto I would definitely go 4.10, maybe even 4.30 or 4.56 if you want good performance. You could call Andy Law at Outlaw Motorsports and see what he recommends. If you don't have anyone lined up to do the gear install I highly recommend him.

There are gear calculators out on the 'net that will tell you what your RPMs will be with a particular, gear, tire, final drive, etc. I think you will be fine as long as you keep your RPMs below 3000.

Seriously 4.10s or better. :coo1:

My son went to 4.10's on his '04 GT, said he lost maybe 1 MPG-the car is a blast to drive. Go 4.10!
