Without steering limiters 8 inches wide is max on the front...I'm dealing with rim rub right now:( . Got 17x9's on the back with plenty room everywhere! with 275-45-zr17's!

I'm with ya'.

When I had 17x9 cobra's on the front of my car, the inside of each wheel would hit the control arm at full steering lock. I have since gone to an 8" bullit up front and have no clearance issues. The max size though, would depend on backspacing. IMO, I think 8.5" is the perfect width for up front, and 10" is perfect for out back.

Since you have 95 gt axles, they are longer than fox axles, so you won't be able to run as wide a wheel, but a 17x9 will fit fine most of the time, depending on backspacing. Any of the populer 17x9 mustang wheels will work fine with those axles.

i ran 17x8.5" (235/45/17) cobra y2k rims up front and was fine on a full turn ... no rubbing ... so im guessing that would be the max up front ...

i ran the same on the rear with a 26x11.5x17 et street, no issues at all ... i forgot the backspacing on those rims ... just look them up on ebay, im sure they would have all the specs ... hope this helps .........
