Eagle talon ?'s

Came acroos a good deal on a 1997 eagle talon none turbo and know nothing about these cars just seeing if anyone has owned one and are they good cars or junk

They are good cars for daily drivers. I had a girlfriend that had a 97 ESI and was a great car. Just ask to see if the timing belt has been replaced, if not that would be the first thing I did if i bought it. They are known for the belts to wear and cause the cams to jump time and you dont want that to happen. Ive had a couple of the turbo models and loved them.

I had a turbo Eclipse (same car but w/ Mitusbishi badge) back in college. They're good cars, mine was quite reliable. Like Mark said, make sure the timing belt has been done...they're good for about 90,000 miles, but if they break, your engine is toast.
