Needed bad

I have a expedition with the 5.4 triton in it, I need two coil packs.Auto zones scanner is showing misfire in 6 and 7.Did some work on it this morning and it seems the coil packs are bad.I am on a limited budget due to my divorce and child support.Any help is appreciated.

Make sure the boots are not burned through. That more times then not is the problem leading to the misfire, not the coils themselves.

I think I may have one. Check with Timido. I think he may have a hook up, or use the stangbangerz acct at advanced auto. They are $55 each with our discount. Scott make SURE you use die-electric grease when you put them back in or you will be changing them all the time. I did this 4 or 5 times on my 5.4 expedition before my brain started working.

I dont have any extra Coil packs. I went through a couple allready and am trying to fix an intermitant miss on my Truck.

I am considering changing all of mine. There are places that sell them in packs of 8 and 10

Looks like you can by a set of 8 or 10 of them off ebay stores for around $100
